2017 Flavor Trend

With the rush to get as nutrient dense as possible, both to mirror the popularity of juicing in a snack format as well as attempting to jam pack all of the consumer’s favorite elements into a single product, manufacturers are spelling out their ingredient lists using flavor names.  Kale, Spinach, Apple, Pineapple, Lemon, Ginger & Cayenne, are all starting to become recognized and expected flavors.  The acceptance of these complicated fusions presents a fairly low risk opportunity to introduce and test markets for new ingredients.
