Cedryl Acetate is acetylated from cedarwood oil. Its aroma is woody, slightly leathery with an earthy undertone similar to that of vetiver. Cedryl Acetate’s fixative properties work well in soaps, especially those where a lighter, creamier woody note is needed. In other fragrance applications it blends well with Iso Bornyl Acetate, Lavandin Oils, and Ionones. Berjé carries grades with 50% and 70% purities.
