Palmarosa is a yearlong production both in India and Guatemala.  High demand and quality problems have put pressure on pricing.  A good production in the last two months has helped to close the gap between offer and demand.  Prices might catch up later if this trend continues.

Reports indicate that current prices are firm due to poor weather conditions and poor availability. While they state that January may provide better weather conditions, prices are not expected to ease.
