Dec 1st, 2019

Typically Mexican crop season is May thru December. This was an atypical crop year, due to drought conditions experienced throughout the main citrus growing regions. As crop was delayed, we now expect Mexico’s crop season to last thru February 2020. Market has firmed up due to lower quantities readily available for fresh fruit and industrial processing. We expect prices to continue to strengthen till end of the crop season as there is no carryover expected.
