Description of Davana Oil

Davana oil is steam-distilled from the flowering tops of the Artemisia Pallens plant, which grows in many of the same regions as Indian sandalwood. The oil is recognized for its distinct plum-like top note, which is valued as an ingredient among herbal tea blends. Davana oil’s aroma also retains a sharp and herbaceous green profile, often added alongside other “artemisia” oils in local flavor and fragrance blends.
