As the weather grows warmer in Bulgaria the harvest of roses for oil distillation is beginning now. Much of this harvesting is done in the historic Rose Valley, just south of the Balkan Mountains surrounding the Stryama and Tundzha rivers. From the towns around Kazanlak, Karlovo, and Pavel Banya much of the world’s rose oil will be produced this year. Through the end of June Berjé Trakia will continue to produce our own yearly supply of Rose Oil. The first oil will be available in July.
