A huge amount of lavandin grosso material has entered the market for 2021; France produced nearly 500 MT of material alone, plus an additional 30-40 MT of carryover. Spain, Bulgaria, and Moldova have all produced their own material as well. It seems likely that farmers may either pull their lavandin plants from harvest or drastically reduce oil production next year....
