Description of Rose Oil Maroc

Steam-distilled from the flowers of the Rosa Centifolia plant, Rose Oil Maroc is generally considered to be the Moroccan alternative to more traditional Bulgarian rose products. Originally grown and distilled by the Arabs and Berbers of medieval Algeria, Morrocon rose has since risen to prominence within international markets, eventually becoming a staple of French perfume houses. The oil has a rich, deep sweetness, though it lacks the unique “spicy” note of its Bulgarian counterparts. This makes Moroccon rose oil well-suited for medium or high-priced perfumes, as the oil’s warm and natural odor instantly imparts a refreshing sweetness. In flavor, rose oil Maroc is mainly used to compliment fruity products, blended alongside ingredients such as blueberry, raspberry, and plum.
