Description of Methyl Pomello

Also referred to as “Pamplemousse” and “Grapefruit Acetal,” Methyl Pomelo is an aromatic chemical that blends exceptionally well with most citrus ingredients. The aroma of this material is very fresh and fruity, highly reminiscent of grapefruit peel. This makes methyl pomelo a common inclusion within cleaning and personal care products such as shampoo, soap, and body lotion. Methyl pomelo also exhibits a green and woody quality somewhat comparable to violet; this makes the chemical very useful for fine fragrance work.
