Description of Dillseed Oil

Dillseed Oil is steam distilled from the ripe fruits of the crushed dried, mature fruit of Anethum gravolens in India and the United States. It shares the weed oil’s distinctive dill character, though at a lesser extent. Its fresh, warm-spicy aroma bears some similarity to that of caraway and spearmint due to the presence of D-carvone, their shared component. Dillseed Oil finds more use when paired with caraway oil or in minty profiles.
