Description of Geranium Oil Chinese
One of the most important and long-standing ingredients of the entire flavor and fragrance industry, Geranium Oil is produced in many regions throughout the world, though the largest producer of this oil is China. Steam-distilled from the leaves and branches of the Pelargonium Graveolens flower, Chinese Geranium Oil carries a powerful sweet and leafy odor, often compared to rose and mint. Its green, slightly fruity odor is renowned for its supreme versatility within perfumery, capable of blending well with fruity, spicy, floral, and minty fragrances. Geranium Oil China has a stronger, more herbaceous topnote, though its drydown is less complex than the lighter, more rose-like Egyptian variant of geranium.
