Description of Petitgrain Oil S.A.
A classic essential oil steam-distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree, Petitgrain Oil can be extracted from both bitter orange and neroli plant varieties. While these trees grow widely throughout tropical and semi-tropical areas, the Paraguayan variety is the most well-known due to its consistency in quality, as well as its widespread availability in the region. Petitgrain oil has a great many uses within white floral blends and other fragrance profiles in which green notes are particularly important. The oil is also flexible enough to be used in herbaceous, green, and citrus profiles.
