Description of Thyme Oil Red
Thyme Oil Red is steam-distilled from the partially dried Thymus vulgaris herb. The oil earns its namesake from its brownish-red coloration, though its aroma remains incredibly rich and potent. Red thyme oil retains warm and herbaceous notes, with a unique spiciness not present in other similar herb oils. Its flavor is similarly warm, with a spicy and tenacious top note; this is extremely popular among food products such as canned foods, pickling brines, and meat sauces. Thyme oil red also finds some use in perfumery, such as in soaps or detergents, though this market is much smaller than its overwhelming number of flavor applications.
