Description of Vanilla Absolute
Vanilla Absolute is derived from the legendary Vanilla planifolia orchid, a native species of Mexico and Belize. As an absolute, this material provides perfumers with the botanical’s highest possible concentration; the aroma is so intense that it is often described as surpassing the natural fruit’s odor by many orders of magnitude. As such, vanilla absolute’s aroma is remarkably rich and sweet, deeply reminiscent of even the strongest natural vanilla fruits. Vanilla absolute is primarily used in high-class perfumes, where it imparts an intensely rich sweetness.
