Description of Vetiver Terpenes

Vetiver contains an incredibly diverse array of terpenes and sesquiterpenes, all of which contribute to the material's sweet, woody, soil-like aroma. As such, Vetiver Terpenes retain much of the plant's uniquely woody odor, though with a waxy and somewhat balsamic undertone. These terpenes are also less sweet than their oil counterparts, making them ideal for woody or "root" blends.
