Description of Ylang Ylang Oil #1

Ylang Ylang Oil is steam-distilled from the fresh flowers of the Cananga odorata tree, a species native to Indonesia and East Asia. Distillation of ylang-ylang is carried out in various small stages, leading to multiple distillates being collected separately. Ylang Ylang #1 is very similar to Ylang Ylang Extra; its aroma is powerful and floral, retaining a tenaciously sweet drydown. The oil is often added to floral or amber perfumes, blending exceptionally well with ingredients such as vetiver, bergamot, and balsam peru.
