Steam distilled from the herb of the coriander plant known as cilantro and it’s familiar herbal profile exhibiting some of the fatty, aldehydic notes familiar from the herb. These notes are recognized as being helpful in citrus profiles like lemon, orange, and mandarin where it can amplify the citrus peel character.
Black Pepper Oil is steam distilled from the near-ripe berries of the Piper nigrum vine predominantly in southwestern India. Though it has none of the spiciness of ground pepper, Black Pepper Oil is used in savory, herbal, or spice flavors to impart a warm, fresh, peppery character. The caryophyllene topnote is prominently featured in this marmalade.
