Bulgaria is in the beginning stages of its processing season for lavender, and oil production is currently underway at Berjé Trakia. In 2023, the lavender market underwent major changes to its supply structure and total acreage within producing regions such as Bulgaria. Weak demand in certain sectors of the consumer market led to a sharp reduction in the acreage allocated to lavender in Bulgaria, which will result in a significant reduction of essential oils production this year. However, thanks to our close partnerships with local growing communities, Berjé remains well-positioned in the lavender market. We are firmly committed to supporting lavender farmers and will continue to purchase their long-term production....
